Sevilla’s Michael Krohn Dehli decides extra time against Barcelona is beer o’clock (Video)

We can guess that competing with the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez is a thirsty business, but Michael Krohn Dehli went and proved it.

The Danish midfielder had just completed ninety minutes of football in the UEFA Super Cup clash against Barcelona, in a thrilling game that included eight goals.

The prospect of two extra halves drove poor Michael to drink, as he clearly needed a swift half of his own to continue.

It explains why the 32-year-old gulped down a quick swig of beer as he prepared for extra time – despite holding a non-alcoholic drink in his other hand.

We’re guessing he needed a few more after Barca’s Pedro secured a dramatic 5-4 win for the Catalans…
