Sergio Ramos to Man United links return as Real Madrid star reportedly rejects new deal

The Sergio Ramos transfer saga is rapidly turning into the never-ending story.
On a night when Barcelona forward Pedro's proposed move to Old Trafford reportedly hit the rocks, Spanish radio station Cadena SER claim that Ramos' new contract is "not even close" - handing an unlikely boost to Louis van Gaal. https://twitter.com/RafaelH117/status/629375784633933824 https://twitter.com/nandorvila/status/629388260024778752'Ramos is uneasy because of the statement of intent from the Asian tour,' a report in the AS newspaper reads.
'Madrid has not had contact with his agent. And one thing is clear, Sergio Ramos will not accept the 8.5 million offered by Real Madrid - [he] wants 10 million euros per season to extend the contract which ends in June 2016.'
There has apparently been no urgency on Real's part to sort Ramos' situation with the defender growing restless. And we know a certain Dutchman who wouldn't be afraid to give him €10m a year.
