Sergio Aguero is officially a Premier League great
Sergio Aguero entered the pantheon of Premier League greats on Sunday afternoon after his hat-trick against Huddersfield Town lifted the Argentine striker into the top 10 scorers in the league's history.
The hat-trick - the ninth of Aguero's Premier League career - came during Manchester City's 6-1 demolition of David Wagner's side, means that he now has 146 Premier League goals, and places him level in 10th alongside Teddy Sheringham.

Alan Shearer remains - as ever - top of the list, with 260 goals. Behind him is ex-Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney on 208. Andy Cole, Frank Lampard and Thierry Henry complete the top five, with 187, 177 and 175 goals respectively.
Sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth place are taken up by Robbie Fowler (163), Jermain Defoe (162) Michael Owen (150) and Les Ferdinand (149).
Having broken into the top 10 and being a player who has only failed to score at least 20 Premier League goals twice in seven seasons previous to this, it is highly likely that Aguero could move considerably higher up the list before the season is out.
