The Seamus Coleman image every football fan has been dying to see
Seamus Coleman has returned to the training ground.
The road to recovery for Seamus Coleman appears to be going very well.
Republic of Ireland's captain suffered a horrific double leg break in the last World Cup qualifier against Wales and was expected to be out of action for six months.
The Donegal native has been shown lots of support since that challenge from Neil Taylor - with Ronald Koeman and his Everton backroom staff making the trip across to Killybegs ahead of handing the 28-year-old a deal that will keep him with the Toffees until 2022.
On Friday, Everton tweeted out a series of photos from the training ground ahead of their Premier League opener against Stoke City at the weekend. Among the snaps was a very welcome sight.

Your eyes are not deceiving you. That's none other than Coleman in the bottom right image, doing some resistance training.
Seeing him raising that knee and pumping those leg muscles is a sight that should warm the cockles of the hearts of every Republic of Ireland and Everton football fan.
Best of luck with the home stretch of the recovery, Seamus.
