Scotland fans have descended on London ahead of the first competitive meeting between their national football team and England this millennium.
Ahead of the meeting at Wembley on Friday night, several members of the Tartan Army were keen to remind their neighbours of their painful Euro 2016 exit at the hands of major tournament debutants, Iceland.
Standing outside a frozen food supermarket bearing the same name as England’s conquerers, the group of Scots spent a few seconds showing off their Viking Clap (which still sounds incredibly like a Scandinavian sexually transmitted disease).

England and Scotland last met in a competitive match at Wembley in November of 1999, when Don Hutchinson scored the only goal of the match for the visitors in the second leg of their Euro 2000 qualifier. However, with England taking a 2-0 first leg lead in to the match, it wasn’t enough to stop Kevin Keegan’s side from progressing.
Since then, England have been at every major tournament bar Euro 2008, with Scotland failing to reach any.
Scotland currently sit fourth in the group for the next World Cup and are fully aware that they need a win at Wembley to keep their chances of qualification for Russia 2018 alive. England have won twice and drawn one of their three qualifiers and know that a win would put them in a strong position.
