Diaz is the latest big name to be courted by Saudi sides

Luis Diaz is reportedly of interested to Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia, who are preparing a bid for the Colombian winger.

Portuguese publication Record have claimed that the Saudi Pro League side are planning to make an offer of €50m (£42m) to secure his services however considering Liverpool paid £40m to sign him just over 18 months ago, it would take a lot more to convince the Reds.

Liverpool meanwhile have no intention to sell the former Porto man, with Jürgen Klopp identifying him as a key part of his plans for the club going forward.

The winger has an impressive record of 11 goals in 47 appearances but found his game time limited last season after being hampered by continuous injury problems.

Diaz is the third Liverpool player to have been linked with a move to the Middle East in as many weeks. Fabinho and Jordan Henderson have reportedly been sounded out by Al-Ettifaq – who are managed by Steven Gerrard.

Al-Ettifaq are also allegedly willing to quadruple Henderson’s wages to convince him to join, with the England international said to be seriously considering the proposal.

Meanwhile, several other big names have left Europe to head for Saudi Arabia in recent weeks. Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante and Ruben Neves are just some of the names to move, with all being given significant wage increases.
