Lukic made 26 Premier League appearances last season and 106 in total for the Cottagers after joining from Torino in January 2023, where he had racked up 168 games over seven seasons.

He becomes the second player to move from Fulham to Portman Road this summer, following Morocco defender Issa Diop, as part of this summer’s transfer business.

The Serbia international has 62 caps and featured at the 2022 World Cup and Euro 2024, and arrives as a seasoned option in the middle of the park for the Suffolk side.

He gives the squad added Premier League nous, with the club moving early to bolster its midfield well before the transfer window shuts.

Manager Gary O’Neil praised the midfielder’s pedigree, while Lukic said he “can’t wait to play here as a home player”, having previously faced Ipswich at Portman Road, BBC Sport reports.
