Samuel Eto'o has been hospitalised after being involved in a car crash, according to reports in Africa.
While his car sustained a lot of damage, the former Barcelona forward is said to be in a stable condition having been immediately taken to hospital.
“The crushed car Samuel Eto’o was in. I can confirm that he is fine, we spoke again. Doctors taking care of additional examinations,” Martin Camus, a Cameroonian journalist tweeted.

Eto'o was reportedly returning from a friend's wedding on Sunday morning when his car was hit by a public transport bus around the Nkongsamba-Douala road in Cameroon.
There were no deaths in the crash, during which the bus hit two cars. The driver behind the wheel of the bus has been arrested, according to the Mirror.
Eto'o enjoyed an illustrious footballing career, winning back to back Champions League titles with Barcelona and Inter Milan, first under Pep Guardiola and then under Jose Mourinho.
He also spent two seasons in England, at Chelsea - also under Mourinho - before a short spell at Everton.
The Cameroon legend then went on a globe trotting tour of short stints at various clubs including Sampdoria, Antalyaspor and Konyaspor in Turkey, before retiring in Qatar with 371 career goals to his name.
