It’s completely understandable that after time away from the game, some managers might forget the odd player’s name.
Although given that Sam Allardyce only left his post at West Ham at the back end of last season, perhaps he doesn’t fall into that category.
Taking on a role as pundit, Allardyce showered Everton’s Seamus Coleman with praise. Unfortunately, Big Sam appeared to struggle with the Irishman’s name….
Unless of course he meant someone else entirely…
