A moment of solidarity with Liverpool from the French club...

This is a classy move from the French top flight side.

Saint-Etienne unfurled a banner in solidarity with the families of victims of the 1989 Hillsborough tragedy during a league game on Sunday.

The banner, which remained pitchside all the way through the 2-0 win over Lille, read: ‘Hillsborough, 25 years of lies…Justice for the 96’

The banner was well received in the UK.
