Sadio Mane's house was burgled during Liverpool vs Bayern Munich
Watches, phones and car keys were all stolen
While Liverpool were playing against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night, Sadio Mané's house is reported to have been burgled.
It is believed that a group of people forced entry into his Allerton home during the match.
The burglars took phones, watches and car keys in a heist that rook place between 6pm and 11:45pm on Tuesday.
Officers are appealing for the stolen goods to be returned after carrying out a forensic investigation of the house.
Detective Inspector Phil Mahon said: "We are appealing for anyone with information in relation to this burglary to please come forward and assist our enquiries.
“While the occupants were not present at the time of the incident, this will no doubt be a distressing experience for them and I would ask the offenders to do the right thing and return the stolen items to the owner in any way possible.
“Likewise if you saw anything suspicious in the area, or have any dashcam or CCTV footage, please get in touch.”
