Giggs has been linked with several jobs since, and interviewed for the manager's position at Swansea City before Bob Bradley was appointed, but has yet to find a role.
The 42-year-old, who has been seen on punditry duty for Sky Sports and ITV since the season began, will have to wait a bit longer to enter football management, and after pulling out of the running for the vacant role at Wigan Athletic, according to reports.

Joyce is expected to hold talks with Wigan chairman David Sharpe on Friday. The 51-year-old has been coaching United's reserves since 2009.
