Ronda Rousey's first ever UFC loss clearly hit her hard, but the former bantamweight champion seems to have put the shock UFC 193 reverse behind her.
Rousey was a huge favourite to beat Holly Holm last November, only for 'The Preacher's Daughter' to turn the former champ's career MMA record from 12-0 to 12-1.
'Rowdy' admitted to
feeling suicidal in the aftermath of that defeat, but a recent speech at Reebok's Luncheon for Inspirational Women suggests her approach to setbacks has changed.

"At the time yes it's hard on a personal, emotional level and it's hard to look past what's happening to the future, but you have to believe in yourself because down the line in two, five, ten years' time you'll look back and think that was actually the best thing that ever happened to me," Rousey is reported as saying by
Inside Halton.
"Every single setback it's not the end of the world, it's just the beginning of that lesson.
"That had to happen for me to learn these certain things and it's not about being completely infallible, it's about getting better and there's no room for improvement in perfect."
Rousey is
on the comeback trail, with a bout against Holm's UFC 196 conqueror Miesha Tate expected to be next up for the California fighter.
