Robin van Persie scored this controversial first goal for Fenerbahce (video)

He was very lucky here...

Robin van Persie is off the mark for his new club, but perhaps his first goal for Fenerbahce should have been chalked off.

RVP scored a late winner for the Turkish outfit during their Europa League qualification match against Atromitos.

The score was dead-locked at 0-0 when the Dutchman nodded in an 11th hour winner to grab the win, and a vital away goal for Fenerbahce.

However, Atromitos may have the right to feel aggrieved. Replays appear to show that Van Persie fouled an opposing defender before finding the net.

The striker placed two hands on the player’s back and looked to have shoved the defender in order to make space before guiding the ball into the net.

It looks like a foul to us. What do you think?
