In 10th placed comes Mexico coach Javier Aguirre. Earning his dosh well after winning all three group stage games, the Mexicans have breezed into the Round of 32. He earns an annual salary of €2.5million.

In ninth is Uruguay gaffer Marcelo Bielsa, who has reportedly had serious disagreements with his team regarding intensity of training. He earns €3million a year.

In joint-ninth comes the Dutchman Ronald Koeman, who comfortably guided the Netherlands to a top-placed group finish with two wins and a draw. Like Bielsa, he takes home €3million a year.

Surprisingly in 7th comes a World Cup winner and top level gaffer, none-other-than France's Didier Deschamps. Perhaps a humble salary considering his elite standards, the Frenchman earns €3.8million a year.

In 6th comes perhaps a surprise. Uzbekistan gaffer Fabio Cannavaro is a World Cup legend, though his native Italy haven't qualified this time around in a worldwide shock. The former defender earns €4million a year.

Next in joint 6th is Portugal manager Roberto Martinez. After a disappointing draw to DR Congo, his side went through the gears as they brutally dispatched Uzbekistan 5-0. Like his opponent, he earns €4million.

Then comes Thomas Tuchel. A Champions League winner with Chelsea, the England gaffer has serious pedigree, and with that comes a serious salary. The Three Lions boss takes home €5.8million a year.

In 3rd is USA's manager Mauricio Pochettino, an Argentine native and Spurs hero. After winning their opening two matches emphatically, the side then fell to a surprise 3-2 defeat against Turkey. He earns €6million a year.

Next up is Germany gaffer Julian Nagelsmann, who was former boss at the mighty Bayern Munich. He earns a massive €7million annually.

And then comes the top of the tree, by a considerable amount. Carlo Ancelotti of Brazil. The Don. Taking over the Selecao, his salary is a whopping €10million a year. He's seen it all and done the lot, to be fair.
