Despite reports that Arsene Wenger hopes to keep Jack Wilshere at Arsenal, reports linking him with a move elsewhere refuse to die.
The 25-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Bournemouth, could leave the North London club on a free when his contract expires at the end of the season. Reports have already suggested he may make a move to another Premier League club at the end of the season, with the odd rumour doing the rounds that a couple of Italian clubs are also keeping tabs on him.
Now though, it appears he may also be attracting attention from Spain, with Real Betis reported to have made contact with the player with regards to a move in The Sun, who also claim the La Liga side are 'confident' that they can complete the deal.
Wilshere is expected to be offered a new contract at The Emirates, though is said to be open to a move abroad if a deal cannot be agreed.
With Wilshere hoping for a place in Gareth Southgate's World Cup squad, it's feasible the midfielder could leave Arsenal - be it only on loan - in the January window in order to secure regular first team football.
So far, his appearances for Wenger have been limited this campaign. After recovering from a leg break while at Bournemouth last April, he has only played 25minutes of league football.
