Ravel Morrison has his first goal for new side Ostersunds FK
The former wonderkid joined the Swedish side after a loan spell in Mexico
Ex-Manchester United youth player Ravel Morrison joined Swedish team Ostersunds FK in February, having spent last season on loan in Mexico.
The Wythenshawe-native has had a tumultuous career since failing to make the grade at Old Trafford, where he had been revered as potentially the club's best youth product since the Class of '92 emerged.
It never worked out for him there, and a subsequent move to West Ham failed to see him produce his best either. Since then there's been one permanent move to Lazio and myriad loan spells to the like of Birmingham City, Cardiff, QPR twice and Liga MX side Atlas.
After that latest loan spell - probably the most successful and consistent period of his senior career to date - Morrison moved to Ostersunds FK, the Swedish side which came to prominence in Britain due to their escapades in Europe under the now Swansea City boss Graham Potter.
Ostersunds were facing IK Sirius on Sunday in the Swedish Cup and fans of Morrison, or the deluge of people who remain fascinated with his career and how it's going, will be delighted to know that he has gotten off the mark for them.
The game finished 3-0, with Morrison getting the first goal after 28 minutes. Standing in a good position in the box, Morrison capitalised on a knock down to take a touch and absolutely rifle the ball past Lukas Jonsson in goal.

It remains to be seen whether Sweden will be the place where Morrison finally settles and shows even a smidgen of the potential which saw him star alongside current Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in the club's youth teams.
Either way, he's gotten off on the right foot.
