There was once upon a time when a tournament like the European Championships was a chance for people to discover a whole host of brilliant footballers that they'd never heard of before.

Not so anymore. Most teams are familiar to us from watching English, Spanish, German, Italian and Champions League football. But can you really tell one player from another based on the clubs they've played for.
