Ronaldo has been offered to the French giants

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly been offered to Paris Saint-Germain as speculation over where his future lies continues to rumble on.

Ronaldo told United that he wanted to leave the club after they failed to secure Champions League football, putting several clubs on red alert.

Chelsea are the current favourites to land the Portugal international’s signature after their owner Todd Boehly held talks with Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes.

PSG have already decided on if they will pursue the signature of Ronaldo

However reports at Le Parisien say that Mendes isn’t ruling out other clubs and has offered French giants PSG the opportunity to sign his star client.

Those dreaming of a Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo attacking duo will be disappointed though, with PSG allegedly turning down the offer, citing the abundance of attacking options they already have in their squad as the reason.

New boss Christophe Galtier has an array of talent at his disposal. In addition to Messi, the former Lille manager also has the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

The French side also have a new director of football in Luis Campos and his appointment appears to have sparked a change in transfer strategy from the Ligue 1 club.

Big names such as Angel Di Maria have departed the Parc des Princes stadium while their only signing of the summer so far is one-time Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee and former Porto midfielder, Vitinha.

United have begun pre-season preparations without Ronaldo

Meanwhile United fans were given their first insight into how the side could look without their number seven leading the line as Erik ten Hag’s side swept Liverpool aside with a 4-0 pre-season victory.

Goals from Jadon Sancho, Fred, Anthony Martial and Facundo Pellistri capped off an exciting win in Bangkok as the Red Devils continue their preparation for the upcoming season without Ronaldo, who has yet to report for training.
