Premier League win High Court order allowing them to block illegally streamed matches

Believe it or not, there are some people who don't pay subscription fees to watch their Premier League football.

As incredible as that may sound, a good number of folk choose to watch illegally streamed footage of English top flight matches over the internet. We're shocked also. Now though, the FA has stepped in to put a considerably large spanner in the works. As reported by Rob Harris of the Associated Press, the Premier League has now gained a High Court order which allows them to block servers that stream unauthorised broadcasts of matches. https://twitter.com/RobHarris/status/839522079728943104 For the very first time, the Premier League now has the capability to "disrupt and prevent the illegal streaming of our matches via IPTV, so-called Kodi, boxes".
