Manchester City face Luton Town on Saturday afternoon at Etihad Stadium. Pep Guardiola’s team have an opportunity to go top of the table ahead of Liverpool and Arsenal, who both play on Sunday.

The Reds face Crystal Palace at Anfield, while Arsenal have a tricky tie against Champions League-chasing Aston Villa.

Ahead of the round of fixtures, Arsenal have the advantage. The Gunners are level on 71 points with Liverpool but are top of the table based on goal difference. Man City, meanwhile, are two points behind their rivals.

It would be foolish, however, to write off City as they chase an unprecedented Treble-Treble. Yet, at the same time, Liverpool and Arsenal may never get a better chance to dethrone Pep’s perennial champions.

Elsewhere in the Premier League this weekend, Tottenham Hotspur travel to St James Park to face Newcastle United, with kick-off at 12:30 pm on Saturday morning.

Manchester United, meanwhile, face an away trip to Bournemouth.
