Matteo Guendouzi and Paulo Dybala got into a heated exchange during the Derby della Capitale.

Dybala responded by pulling out his shin pad and showing Guendouzi a picture of him winning the World Cup with Argentina.

The pair clashed several times before they squared up and had hold of each other around the neck before the referee intervened. While the referee stepped-in the Argentine decided to mock Guendouzi reaching for the shinpad in a humourous fashion.

Dybala was part of the iconic team that won the FIFA World Cup 2022 in dramatic circumstances with his nation beating France on penalties in a thrilling final.

The forward has always shown potential but has flourished since joining Roma. This season he has provided 20 goal involvements in 22 games cutting a confident figure when on the pitch.

Roma defeated Lazio 1-0 in the iconic match. In a tight affair, which saw just four shots on target between the teams, Gianluca Mancini scored the decisive goal at the Stadio Olimpico. The result bolsters Roma’s quest for Champions League football with the Wolves trailing fourth-placed Bologna by three points.
