Pogba starts but another selection has Man Utd fans giddy with excitement

Mourinho has taken Ryan Giggs' advice

It could well be the most tantalising teamsheet that Manchester United supporters have seen all season.

Paul Pogba has recovered from a hamstring injury while Zlatan Ibrahimovic has made it to the substitutes’ bench, having failed to feature for the Red Devils for over six months.

But, away from the two comebacks, United fans were thrilled at the sight of Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford starting together for Saturday’s clash with Newcastle.

Manager Jose Mourinho has rotated both youngsters throughout the campaign thus far but, after dropping Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the decision was made to start the duo together.

United legend Ryan Giggs recently insisted that he could see no reason why Rashford and Martial couldn’t start in the same side.

“The battle between Marcus Rashford and Antony Martial has been great to follow,” Giggs told Sky Sports last month.

“I could definitely see them in the same team, with Marcus being more of a natural centre-forward whereas Martial is more of a left-sided forward but can also play centrally.”

Pogba, Rashford, Martial and Lukaku all starting together?

No wonder this lot are so happy…
