It's still only August, but we'll struggle to find a more embarrassing miss than this all season.

With Borussia Dortmund embroiled in a fightback against Odd Grenland in the Europa League, striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang somehow contrived to fire a gilt-edged chance wide from two yards out. The cross was perfect, the goal gaping, but the forward's heavy touch rebounded off his other foot and out for a goal-kick. Still, at least he eventually made amends with a brace that helped secure a vital win...
