We thought the general idea of sporting mascots was to look cute and cuddly on the sidelines and engage youngsters going to games - not to haunt their nightmares and prolong bed-wetting. Japanese rugby union side Sunwolves (or HITO-Communications Sunwolves to give them their full name) obviously decided something a little edgier was required for their club symbol.
