Peter Crouch predicts Premier League title winner and top four contenders

The Gunners won last year's title, coming 7 points ahead of runner ups Manchester City, aiming to reconquer the English scene for a second year in a row. 

However, Arsenal couldn't win it all, falling short in the Champions League final as PSG spoiled their hopes to a double. 

Mikel Arteta has been busy in the transfer market over the summer, signing Guimaraes from Newcastle and Hincapie joining the club officially after his loan from Leverkusen. 

Greek left winger, Christos Tzolis, who scored 20 and assisted 25 for Club Bruges last season, is one to look after in this coming season. 

Unfortunately, the Gunners couldn’t reach Vinicius as Real Madrid extended his contract about a week ago.

However, Arteta is looking to make up for the Vinicius deal by targeting Bradley Barcola, who has been on Liverpool’s radar ever since a notable World Cup campaign.

Making his prediction on That Peter Crouch Podcast, the ex-England striker picked Arsenal to win it all again.

“He (Arteta) delivered and they got to a Champions League final. I’m going to go with Arsenal,” said Crouch.

“I’m going to go for Arsenal to win it, City second, Manchester United third and Chelsea.”

Crouch backed United to make it back to the top four spots under Carrick’s leadership, saying: “I don’t want them to win the league but I think they have improved. 

“Is it different now that Michael Carrick has got the job full-time? We’ll see.”

Peter Crouch went on about his former club, Liverpool, where he said he’s “not sure on Liverpool.”

He added: “I think the manager is great, I just don’t know if the squad is there after losing the players that they’ve lost in the last couple of seasons.”

The former England player went on to talk about City, expecting Haaland to have a phenomenal scoring season. 

“Haaland gets another 30 goals. He’s a machine.”
