Pele defends Costa...whilst having a bitchy dig at Suarez

It looks like it isn't just Diego Costa who likes getting his claws out every now and again...

The Chelsea midfielder has received widespread condemnation around the world for his world-class sh*thousery against Arsenal on the weekend. Despite not registering a single foul throughout the game, he was pulling, pushing, pinching and scratching his way to three vital points. But now he has received support from an unlikely source - Brazilian legend and viagra salesman, Pele.

Not only that, but the impotence curer used the opportunity to have a pop at Luis Suarez...just because. Speaking to French newspaper L'Equipe he quipped: "Everyone knows that Diego Costa is a very good player. It's just part of the game. It's not like he bit anyone like Luis Suarez - that's far worse..." Meow! We can't wait to see Pele in the football reboot of Gossip Girl.
