Paul Pogba’s Man United contract expires this summer
Paul Pogba’s latest haircut could have the answers to where his future lies, according to fans, ahead of his imminent departure from Manchester United.
Pogba’s contract runs out this summer and is available to sign on a free after he and United failed to agree to new terms. Several clubs have been linked with securing his signature, including the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
The favourite though seems to be former club Juventus, who he left to rejoin United for a then-record £89m transfer fee six years ago.
Pogba posted a picture to Instagram, with one comment catching people’s eyes
And on Wednesday night the Frenchman posted a picture of his latest trim which was captioned with ‘You know what time it is.’ But it was his barber’s comment underneath that caused the real stir.
He replied to Pogba’s post, saying: ‘#Pogback,’ before posting a black and white symbol – the same colours worn by Juventus.
The famous hash tag was used when the 29-year-old returned to United in 2012 and it has now fuelled speculation that he could rejoin the Serie A giants.
Juve boss jokes about potential return to Juve for Pogba
Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri seemingly hasn’t ruled out the idea either after joking earlier in the week about a potential return for Pogba to Turin.
“He won’t be back, he is afraid of challenging me. He lost playing with foot and hands. That’s why he left,” he told DAZN.
The reference made by his former boss was in recognition to the basketball and football challenges the two regularly competed in during Pogba’s first stint at the club.
