There were unsavoury scenes at the end of the first half in the 'old farm' derby between Norwich City and Ipswich Town on Sunday afternoon, as Ipswich manager Paul Lambert received a red card for his part in a touchline brawl.
Bodies swarmed around the substitutes' benches in first half injury time after Jon Nolan’s late challenge on Max Aarons and the Scot was left fuming, having to be restrained by a police officer.
Norwich boss Daniel Farke, meanwhile, looked calm and collected, giving a little wink after the brawl had simmered down.
Norwich went into the break a goal to the good, and will have the added advantage of their opponent's manager having to watch from the stands in the second half.
The home fans were not subtle in how much they enjoyed Lambert's dismissal, which should come as no surprise given he used to manage Norwich and is now in charge of their closest rivals.
