Our all-time El Clasico XI is a who’s who of footballing genius

What a line-up.

Picking a current El Clasico combined XI is a difficult task. Picking an all-time one, however, is a different beast altogether. Real Madrid and Barcelona have consistently boasted the world's best players for decades now, so it means leaving a ridiculous amount of quality out of a combined line-up. But here we are. This is what we're faced with. After much deliberation here is our all-time combined El Clasico XI. Ronaldinho, Cruyff, Fernando Hierro, Raul, Maradona. These are just some of the legends to miss out. Ronaldinho was initially in ahead of Di Stefano, but the Real Madrid forward is consistently mentioned in the same breath as Pele and Maradona as the greatest player to have ever lived. Speaking of Diego, his best club years were with Napoli. Had he produced his best form at the Camp Nou, his inclusion would have been simple. As with any combined XI, it's purely subjective.
