While the term 'legend' gets tossed about a little too freely in football these days, few would argue that Sir Bobby Charlton deserves to be described in such a way.
A survivor of the Munich Air Disaster in 1958, Charlton went on to win the lot with Manchester United and was also part of England's World Cup winning team in 1966.
