Newcastle United are the latest Premier League club to have their 2018/19 home kit prematurely splashed across the internet.

Expected to be officially unveiled at some point in May, the new shirt, made by Puma, has been exclusively revealed by Footy Headlines – a website with an excellent reputation for this sort of thing.

The shirt features the club’s traditional black and white vertical stripes (four black; five white).

With the existing shirt celebrating Newcastle’s 125th anniversary, the new shirt will also see the return of the club’s regular crest.

The Puma logo appears to be in gold – both on the chest and on the shoulders – with main sponsor FUN88 appearing in blue, as is the case on the current design.

Puma have also added a rounded neck to the shirt, replacing the v-neck design seen in this year’s edition.

The shirt is expected to be accompanied by a combination of black shorts and white socks.

Newcastle currently sit in tenth place in the Premier League, their victory over Arsenal earlier in the month helping them to pass the 40-point mark. They host bottom club West Brom at the weekend, before trips to Watford and Tottenham. Their final game of the season will see them host dethroned champions Chelsea on May 13.
