Newcastle fans protest Mike Ashley's ownership of club
“It pains me greatly, not going there today..."
If you watched Newcastle United's opening game of the Premier League season, you may have noticed that there were 4,000 fewer in attendance than usual at St. James' Park.
That's because a large number of supporters embarked on a protest against Mike Ashley's ownership of the club, called Boycott Arsenal. JOE travelled to Newcastle to speak to fans and ask them what drives them to protest their football club.
