New sexism storm could see Chris Gayle leave Big Bash league

We might not have heard the end of the Chris Gayle controversy.

The Jamaican cricketer was fined by Big Bash League club Melbourne for asking out reporter Mel McLaughlin live on air, and issued an unconvincing non-apology for his actions. 'Despite such denial, Fairfax Media continues to publish the false and defamatory allegations which have received widespread republication in media throughout the world,' the statement reads.
