Mo Salah and Dejan Lovren’s bromance continues as they joke about goal celebrations on Instagram

This is great banter, it really is

I’m convinced these two communicate solely via Instagram stories

Liverpool ended their Premier League season in style today, beating Brighton 4-0 at Anfield. To nobody’s surprise, it was Mo Salah who opened the scoring, with his 32nd goal of the season. Dejan Lovren then doubled Liverpool’s lead with a bullet header, scoring just his second goal of the season.

Salah and Lovren have developed a bit of an unlikely bromance this season, often teasing each other via the medium of their Instagram stories. Liverpool fans have thoroughly enjoyed watching this blossoming relationship unfold vis social media this season, because who doesn’t love a football bromance? Eric Dier and Dele Alli’s might be the strongest in the league, but these two run them a close second.

Today, Lovren celebrated his goal with his arms outstretched, which has become something of a trademark celebration for Salah this season. Salah then accused Lovren of copying him after the game, to which Lovren replied “I just didn’t have the chance to score earlier.”

This is just the latest of many instalments of this back and forth of Instagram stories between the pair. Hopefully, while they are on their summer breaks and at the World Cup, they keep it up.
