DC United's game against Chicago Fire in MLS was one of those which needed a goal of real quality to break the deadlock, and Conor Doyle delivered just that.
The 23-year-old former Derby County man, who is in his second full season with DC, delivered the kind of strike that no keeper could dream of saving. Mostly because any man who tried to block the effort would probably have lost an arm in the process.
Doyle, who turned down Ireland to pledge his international allegiance to the United States, helped DC extend their lead at the top of the table with a 1-0 win.
