Romero was thought to be next in line for Bisping but that was before confirmation arrived of Georges St-Pierre's return to the Octagon.
The long-time former welterweight champion announced an intention to make his middleweight debut in his comeback and, given his superstar name, he leapfrogged Romero to a title shot.
Romero wasn't happy and he'll probably be even less happy when he gets wind of Bisping taking the piss out of how 'The Soldier of God' speaks.
