We feel if this were pretty much anyone else, that would be a weird little one off video and that would be the end of it. But because it's McGregor, and pretty much everything he says or does is liable to get traction, it was soon picked up elsewhere, and the first stop towards virality (or whatever you call the spreading of a meme) was with WBO, WBC and Ring welterweight champ Terence Crawford who challenged all other boxers to take part in the McGregor Challenge.
And from there, the hashtag was born...
