Manuel Pellegrini handed major boost ahead of season climax

Manchester City could be able to call on Kevin De Bruyne in the very near future after the club revealed the Belgian has returned to training.

The former Chelsea player has not featured for City since injuring his knee in their Capital One Cup semi final second leg with Everton. In De Bruyne's absence, City have lost successive league games to Leicester City, Tottenham and Liverpool, leaving any hopes of lifting the Premier League trophy in serious doubt.
