Uefa rules state that domestic games played on the same night as European matches must end 30 minutes before the European ties kick-off. Manchester City are to play Paris-Saint Germain away in the Champions League that night, while Wolfsburg host Real Madrid.
Fixture congestion means neither United or West Ham can find another feasible date to play the replay, before the winners face Everton at Wembley on April 23.
