Manchester United mocked by Mario Balotelli for conceding late goal to Chelsea

The former Man City and Liverpool striker got a great kick out of that

Mario Balotelli has great respect for former manager Jose Mourinho but he still loves to see Manchester United suffer.

Balotelli definitely got a great kick out of seeing United concede a late goal to Chelsea in Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Ross Barkley’s stoppage time equaliser for the hosts sparked raucous celebrations from the home dugout and denied United a much-needed victory.

After falling behind to an Antonio Rudiger header in the first half, United rallied after the break and carried a 2-1 lead into six minutes of injury time thanks to a brace from Anthony Martial.

But Chelsea had the last laugh as Barkley tapped home from close range to keep the Blues’ undefeated start to the Premier League season going.

And Balotelli clearly enjoyed it.

The former Manchester City and Liverpool forward posted a picture to Instagram as the full-time whistle blew with the caption: “Manchester utd fans.. LOL”.

Balotelli scored 30 goals in 80 appearances for City between 2010 and 2013 and memorably unveiled an undershirt reading “Why always me?” after scoring the first goal in City’s 6-1 win over United at Old Trafford in October 2011.

The controversial forward is currently plying his trade for Nice but has yet to find the net this season for the Ligue 1 side.
