Manchester United line-up for CSKA Moscow clash

Simon Lloyd

Manchester United head in to match day three of this season’s Champions League knowing that victory will put them in a strong position to qualify for the next round.

After defeat away at PSV Eindhoven, United beat Wolfsburg in their last European outing and arrive in Moscow off the back of an impressive 3-0 victory at Everton over the weekend.

Unsurprisingly, Ander Herrera maintains his place in the starting line-up after his excellent performance at Goodison Park.

Perhaps the biggest surprise is that Jesse Lingard gets a start for United, after replacing Juan Mata.

Antonio Valencia also starts at right back, in place of Matteo Darmian.
