David Moyes attacks the sacking culture which seems to be emerging at Manchester United

David Moyes has spoken out about the situation at Manchester United, claiming the club "have always stood for much greater things than sacking their managers".

Moyes is the only manager to have been dismissed by the club in the last 29 years, though Louis van Gaal could soon become the second. When Moyes lost his job he had the champions in seventh place, 13 points off fourth and about to finish outside the top three for the first time in Premier League history. Increasing speculation suggests the Dutchman is about to follow Moyes out the Old Trafford exit doors as the club continues to underperform.
