After both Manchester United and Manchester City progressed to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup last weekend, the league fixture between the two sides has had to be rescheduled.
Initially scheduled to be played on March 16th - the weekend of the FA Cup quarter-finals - the derby will now take place on April 24th, between match-days 35 and 36, at what is likely to be a crucial point in the title race.
The earliest available date for the fixture would have been April 2 or 3, but those dates come in the week just before the semi-finals of the FA Cup, which both United and City are likely to be involved in.
United are also meant to play Wolves in the league that weekend, which will almost certainly have to be moved if they beat them in the cup.
If you're confused, the important thing to remember is that the Manchester derby, at Old Trafford, has been moved to April 24.
United are playing Chelsea away at Stamford Bridge immediately after the City game too, giving Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a bit of an unwanted selection headache. Although, they did just beat Chelsea in the cup without either of Jesse Lingard or Anthony Martial, so maybe the fixture pile up won't even be an issue.
