Manchester City are top of the Premier League table. By a whole four goals, we should add.
Heading into the weekend, Pep Guardiola's side were not only level on points with Manchester United at the the English top flight's summit, but they also shared identical goals for and against records with their local rivals.
They remain on the same points as Jose Mourinho's side, but a 5-0 victory over struggling Crystal Palace on Saturday left them with a superior goal difference over United, who were made to work hard for a 1-0 victory at Southampton.
Following Arsenal's 2-0 win over West Brom on Monday evening, BBC Sport posted a tweet showing that Arsene Wenger's side had now reached the dizzying heights of seventh in the table. Much to the disgust of several City fans, the graphic that accompanied the Beeb's tweet only showed Arsenal and the five teams above them in the table. For those glancing at the tweet - and those with no concept of what '2' means - it might have seemed that Manchester United were sitting pretty at the top.

As the replies to the tweets show, this didn't go down well with some City supporters...

Some even went as far as implying it was a 'pro Man United agenda', mainly because Nick Coppack, United's former social media guy, now works for BBC Sport.

Even the BBC's attempts to smooth things over didn't seem to go down well...
