Manchester City charged in relation to anti-doping laws

Manchester City have been charged in relation to the Football Association’s anti-doping rules, according to a statement from the FA.

As the statement explains, ‘It is alleged the club failed to ensure that their ‘Club Whereabouts’ information was accurate, contrary to Regulation 14(d).’.

The FA have not given the names of any players or staff in relation to the charge, while noting that the club has been given a deadline of January 19 to respond to the allegation.

At the time of writing, Manchester City have not issued a public response to the charge.
