According to a report by Marca, Real will receive £106m a year for their new deal with Adidas over the next decade, a significant increase on the amount being paid to United.
Unlike many other kit deals, it's understood that a clause in the existing contract between Real and Adidas meant that the club were not allowed to enter conversations with any rival companies.
Adidas also recently agreed a new deal with Bayern Munich, who receive £60m-a-year - the third largest deal of its kind.Explore more on these topics:
