Man United ‘name price tag’ that they would consider for Marcus Rashford

The Red Devils are looking to funds to provide for new gaffer Ruben Amorim.

Manchester United have reportedly named the price tag in which they would consider an offer for attacker Marcus Rashford, as per a breaking report from Mail Sport.

Recent reports have confirmed that the Red Devils would be open to a sale of the homegrown hero and hugely popular Old Trafford figure.

United are needing to comply with profit and sustainability rules, whilst also raising funds for Ruben Amorim’s squad overhaul.

Selling players that are homegrown count as 100% profit on the balance sheet of the PSR, meaning an increased likelihood of sales.

When Rashford bagged a remarkable 30 goals in Erik ten Hag’s debut season, it is understood that United may have asked for at least £100m for the player.

However now, the club are open to listening to offers of around £40m.

It is understood that a bidder as soon as January is unlikely for the England international.

It is also said that selling two of United’s best young assets – Kobbie Mainoo or Alejandro Garnacho could be an option – although that is something the club actively want to avoid.

Leny Yoro, the young £59m prodigy from Lille, is one player that is seen as ‘untouchable’ by the club.
