Man United have reportedly contacted Carlo Ancelotti about replacing Louis van Gaal

There's enough being written in recent weeks to suggest that there's growing discontent at Old Trafford.

Louis van Gaal's style of play isn't being enjoyed by the Man United supporters, with many unhappy with the Dutchman. Added to this, there are now reports that the club are in contact with potential replacements. Reports from Italy suggest United have gone as far as reaching out to Carlo Ancelotti about the prospect of taking over from Van Gaal in the summer. Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri writes on WhoScored.com that United intended to let current boss Louis van Gaal see out his contract until 2017, but that managerial movements this summer may change their mind.
