Man United ‘agree Casemiro exit’ after approach from new club

The Brazilian could soon be heading out of the Old Trafford exit door.

Manchester United have reportedly ‘agreed an exit’ for Brazilian midfielder Casemiro, as per a breaking report.

The 32-year-old has featured 24 times for The Red Devils so far this season, however has only managed two matches off the bench this year.

After coming on as a last minute substitute most recently against Leicester City, Brazilian outfit Flamengo have now made a reported approach to sign the player, according to Jorge Nicola.

Former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid full-back Filipe Luis is in charge at the club and has given his approval to sign the international star.

Nicola added that United would be prepared to pay a large proportion of the player’s salary.

The Brazilian window closes on February 28th, with the club yet undecided on whether to sign the player:

“I can assure you that Flamengo investigated the player’s situation in the last few days. The English club agree to loan him and help with part of his salary. Filipe Luís would love to count on Casemiro,” he stated.

“Flamengo understand that, given all the figures, it is a very risky business. Even though United are willing to help with most of the salary, there would still be a very high amount to be paid.”
